Voice Rules
For reasons of better readability of the rules and Discord messages, gender-specific distinctions are not made in certain cases. Even if the reader is addressed grammatically as male, this naturally refers to every reader, regardless of their gender.
§1. Validity of the rules
1.1 | These rules apply to the entire novelnia.net network and all associated components.
1.2 | By joining our servers, you automatically accept our terms and conditions and agree to comply with them.
1.3 | In the event of non-compliance with the rules listed below, the novelnia.net team is authorized to impose appropriate penalties. No distinction will be made based on rank.
1.4 | The rules are continuously improved and adapted, which is why every user is required to keep themselves up to date with the points listed here.
1.5 | Failure to comply on the grounds of ignorance will be punished in the same way as deliberate violations.
§2. Consequences
2.1 | Within the framework of our internal team guidelines and procedures, each violation is assigned a certain penalty in terms of severity and duration.
2.2 | In serious exceptional cases, penalties specific to individual cases are also possible.
2.3 | If a penalty is considered unfair, every user has the right to submit a request to have the ban lifted.
2.3.1 | If a user submits a request to have the ban lifted, a decision will also be made in accordance with the above-mentioned guidelines with reference to the penalty file as to how the penalty will be handled in terms of reduction or remission.
2.3.2 | No evidence of penalties imposed will be recorded on Discord.
2.3.3 | The imposition of a penalty is the responsibility of the respective deciding team member.
2.3.4 | Information about violations, bans, or any private information will not be disclosed to third parties.
2.4 | Possible penalties are:
2.4.1 | Exclusion from the novelnia.net network. This can take the form of a ban on both the Minecraft server and Discord.
2.4.2 | Removal of game advantages, ranks, and other purchased products.
§3. General Netiquette
3.1 | Behavior between players:
3.1.1 | Insulting, cheating, discrediting, bullying, or disparaging other players is prohibited and will be punished with exclusion from Discord.
3.1.2 | Spamming in chat is prohibited in any form.
3.1.3 | Causing discomfort (physical injury) through a player's chat behavior will be punished with exclusion from Discord.
3.1.4 | Threats, radicalism, and Nazism in any form, as well as third-party advertising, are also prohibited.
3.1.4.1 | Third-party advertising does not refer to partner networks.
3.1.4.2 | Third-party advertising includes promoting oneself or a third party, as well as a group or brand, via public and private chat.
3.1.4.3 | Advertising on behalf of a client is prohibited.
3.1.5 | The dissemination of intimate and personal data will be punished with a case-by-case review in accordance with the team's internal procedures.
3.1.6 | Harassment of any kind is prohibited.
3.1.7 | Circumventing a penalty is prohibited!
3.1.8 | Unfounded mentions and so-called mass mentions of groups or individuals are prohibited.
3.2 | Conduct of and towards team.
3.2.1 | Conduct towards team members is to be derived from sub-point 3.1 above.
3.2.2 | In addition, it should be noted here that all Novelnia team members have full authority to issue instructions.
3.2.2.1 | Requests made by a team member must be complied with.
3.2.2.2 | In the event that there is suspicion of abuse of rank, every user is required to contact the responsible team administrator accordingly.
3.3 | Bot usage on our services is prohibited and we reserve the right as a company to take legal action against it.
3.4 | Real money trading is prohibited, even without malicious intent.
3.5 | Attacks against the server, the use of multiple IDs, proxy servers, virtual private networks, and IP changers to harm the server are prohibited in any form.
3.6 | The use of name tags before and after the name (e.g., [Moderator], (Admin), {Developer}, or |Sup|) is strictly prohibited.
3.7 | Impersonating well-known individuals and/or companies is strictly prohibited for legal reasons. The same applies to naming real people without their consent.
3.8 | Exploiting a Discord bug is strictly prohibited.
3.9 | Users with a Youtuber rank must name themselves in Discord according to their channel.
